Hey, what’s that flying over there? What’s perched high on a tree branch, and what’s swaying back and forth on a power line? Birds of all kinds can be just as different in character as we humans are.

In this book, Jennifer Budrock, founder of Birdhism, shows you step by step how to draw 80 different bird species – in all sorts of funny poses, outfits and activities: from sleeping and scrolling to surfing and skateboarding! Jen has organised her drawing lessons clearly in a handy index. As well as tips for drawing and colouring your birds, you’ll also find inspiration and colouring pages at the back.

So grab your pencil or tablet and set off on a journey of discovery: learn to draw birds and then let your imagination run wild to depict your own feathered friends in funny poses and surprising places.
